WHY IEG I-LEARNING?
EDUCATION IS THE ROOT
Unlike other e-Learning systems, IEG develops the I-LEARNING platform that is rooted, first and foremost, in education instead of placing technology above all. Based on rigorous research in science and education on pedagogies, the I-LEARNING platform of IEG develops and continously update learning materials, tasks and projects that integrate content and thinking skills with language skills. All serve to develop lifelong learning competencies, besides language competencies, for all students. Technological features are just a supporting tool, not a replacement, for teaching and learning pedagogies.
INTEGRATION WITHOUT SUBSTITUTION
The I-Learning system of IEG is developed and integrated in parallel with the direct classroom curriculum, not a substitute. Students do not have to choose either "online" or "offline" learning. Instead, they will participate in an integrated curriculum and system to continuously expand their learning opportunities and experiences. Thus, students will gradually build up their active learning habits before - during - after every class with unlimited access to diverse learning resources based on the foundational teaching - learning pedagogies of IEG.
HIGH INTERACTIVE FUNCTIONALITY
IEG I-Learning enhances the interactions between teachers and students. It supports teachers to track students' work completion, work quality and academic progress not only over a course but also throughout years of studies. Students' overall growth over time can also be visible to teachers through various forms of language and learning competencies. The system ensures the achievement of language skills up to international standards as well as the nurturing of creativity and personalization in accordance with the education ethos of IEG.
CONSTANTLY UPDATED LEARNING MATERIALS
Learning resources, practical exercises and projects are constantly updated, expanded and deepened on a monthly basis. Current trends and events in the world, society and life - besides the extensive body of human's knowledge from the past till now - are regularly updated to help students relate their learning to real life. Therefore, learning does not stop at just language but only tap into meanings behind each knowledge. When the class "steps out" to the real world, students will be constantly challenged with new knowledge and pushed beyond their limits, so that they don't fall into boredom and self-complacency.
